I loved my Cakewalk software, and love it tho it's old. But FL Studio Demo does work, but I only installed it for the ASIO driver. It seems perhaps my software is old and may have compatability issues, so I'm going to try everything from Windows XP and up to see if it makes an output. Now here's another interesting issue, FL Studio Demo plays and makes sound just fine.

So I registered the Asio driver from FL and it does show up as available in my SONAR. Someone had discovered that they installed FL Studio Demo and it had an asio driver with it, and that worked for them. I was tinkering after my post, and discovered that one output is shown as used by something else, hover over pop up says "is MS GS synth in use" you know what i mean? So I turned my Windows sound profile off, as suggested saying that Windows sound profile uses GS synth, so I turned it off with no help. I have an Intel Atom z3735f CPU with Bay Trail GPU chipset, intel HD audio, showing Realtek LS2 Codec. Games sound output is regular no glitches. Anyways, when SONAR is open, ASIO4ALL shows my audio devices are selected and working. It's good for if I have an idea while I'm out.

I have FL studio Mobile on my android and it works fine, but I don't want to use that unless I'm stuck out and about with no PC. My question is, HELP?! Using the Intel SST drivers? I'm having to catch up to what's been going on with windows since I've been stuck on iPhone, then sold for an Android device. So it is interesting that VMPK makes sound, though very choppy, unusable. Also, using MidiYoke seems to cause crashes. As an added note, using VMPK has an audio stutter when pressing keys i can't figure out why. I've tried WDM MME and ASIO drivers, using ASIO4ALL. App runs, vst adapter works, sound on my pc works normal, but has no sound in it.

:D Now I used my gma laptop dvd drive to install the software remotely over wifi, worked great. I haven't had any pc for a few years now, so I'm very happy to have this.

I need new speakers, new ports, or even a new damn computer. So I'm using an outdated SONAR HS 4 XL with my new Windows 10 Tablet-PC. I don't know why this is the case but at least I know its a faulty hardware issue. if I push it in all the way it gives no juice.

If I just pull the speaker jack just a little outside of the port, than I get sound.

(Hence the code 10 and the reason the device wouldn't start) Basically, I just need drivers for the speakers. Its all a moot point anyway because I was looking into the guts of my PC and found that I don't have anything in my PCI slots, so I was adding nonexistant hardware. I've tried to locate the driver online and I don't think I can find it. Autodetecting the driver doesn't work either. One problem down at least.)ĮDIT: Okay its not working. (Had to do it because it turns out it got to a point where my registry was so messed up that it wouldn't even start. And theres still no sound so I am a bit suspicious. I just did a clean install of Windows Vista (yes I had to go that far). I will install drivers for the "sound card" not the "High definition audio" device. Is there a way to default my sound card in the BIOs? Anyways I need help.Īlso just updating this: I did some research and the driver I downloaded has done something to my sound card, or modified it. but I doubt this is the work of a virus (its probably because I edited my registry earlier to fix a separate issue, and the sound worked after I did that). Also many or not be related but my Symantec Endpoint protection is malfunctioning, so I'm reinstalling that. Like I mentioned the hardware is all fine but this is some sort of deep seat driver issue. Not only did I get no sound in FL Studio 10, but when I exited the program after booting up the ASIO4ALL driver control panel - my sound no longer works. Supposed to make everything sound better. Speakers were working fine before I installed FL Studio 10 with a driver component to it called the ASIO4ALL driver. Did a system restore to a point before the issue began, that didn't work. Disabled, enabled speaker in playback devices, didn't work. Tried automatically detecting drivers with "Add Hardware" wizard. Uninstalled and reinstalled "High Definition Audio Device" drivers in device manager. Tested different speakers to see if it was a speaker issue, but it wasn't

I've tried a couple things to fix the issue. A couple hours ago my speakers stopped producing sound.
